Meet Owner, Kaylah
Hi, I'm the founder and owner of Raine Waistbeads.
In 2016, my personal struggle with body dysmorphia led me to embark on a transformative waistbead journey when I purchased my first strand in Harlem, NY. As I tied those beads around my body, an unprecedented feeling of comfort washed over me.
For the first time in my life, I felt a sense of beauty in the body I had spent years despising. This experience ignited my dedication to healing and cultivating self-love. Inspired by this profound shift, I established Raine.
The name Raine holds deep significance for me. It is the maiden name of my maternal ancestors who have guided me throughout my life.
So I embarked on this entrepreneurial journey with the guidance of my mother, grandmother, and generations of strong women before me.
